Dual-Circuit Brake Valve

Dual-Circuit Brake Valve

It provides proportional air pressure to the front and rear circuits based on pedal input, maintaining stability and preventing total brake failure in case one circuit loses pressure. Built with high-precision internal components and corrosion-resistant housing, the valve delivers reliable performance under varying loads, temperatures, and driving conditions. Its dual-channel design ensures smooth modulation, quick response, and consistent brake feel.

By ensuring accurate and safe air distribution, the valve enhances braking efficiency, reduces stopping distance, and improves overall vehicle safety.

Key Features

  • Dual-circuit control for independent front and rear brake regulation
  • Ensures safe braking even if one circuit fails
  • Provides proportional air pressure based on pedal input
  • High-strength, corrosion-resistant construction
  • Stable operation under high pressure, temperature, and vibration

Process Steps

  1. Depressurize the vehicle’s air-brake system completely.
  2. Disconnect all air lines and mounting hardware from the old valve.
  3. Remove the existing dual-circuit brake valve from its bracket.
  4. Install the new valve and secure it using OEM-specified torque.
  5. Reconnect air lines according to port markings for both circuits.
  6. Recharge system, check for leaks, and test brake response for proper modulation.

FAQ

What does a dual-circuit brake valve do?

It controls and distributes air pressure separately to two brake circuits, ensuring safety and balanced braking.

Why are two circuits necessary?

If one circuit fails, the second circuit continues operating, preventing total brake failure.
