Rear Axle Shaft Short With Diff. Lock

Rear Axle Shaft Short With Diff. Lock

Its precision-machined splines ensure secure engagement within the differential carrier, providing strong rotational force and smooth power delivery. Built from high-strength alloy steel, the shaft withstands heavy loads, high torque, and harsh off-road conditions. The differential lock feature allows the axle to deliver equal power to both wheels, improving traction in mud, slopes, and uneven terrain. Durable heat-treated construction ensures long service life and minimizes risk of twisting or deformation.

By enabling reliable power transfer and enhanced traction, this axle shaft supports stable vehicle performance, improved handling, and superior control during difficult driving conditions. It is essential for heavy-duty trucks that operate under load stress, off-road environments, or traction-limited situations.

FAQ

What is the advantage of a diff-lock axle shaft?

It allows equal power distribution to both rear wheels, improving traction in slippery or off-road conditions.

When should the axle shaft be replaced?
